These are the items we actually find in shipments — nearly always packed by people who had no idea they were a problem.
The rules are generally the same restrictions that apply when you travel with an airline yourself. They are governed by IATA regulations for air freight and IMDG regulations for sea freight. If you are unsure whether an item can be shipped, always ask before you pack it — it is a two-minute phone call, and it is free.
Even when a customer completes a Dangerous Goods declaration, prohibited items are still occasionally discovered during X-ray screening or physical inspection. We comply with the UK aviation and maritime security act and regulations. Failure to do so can result in significant penalties, fines, or prosecution under applicable transport and customs laws — and it can delay or stop your shipment.
