How long does shipping from the UK to Accra (ACC) take? −

These sea transit times are approximate — the actual time depends on when your LCL container finishes loading and consolidating, the vessel’s sailing date and route, any transhipment hub before the final destination, and customs clearance, so please allow a week or two either side. Transit times run from the date of UK collection and exclude UK and Ghana public holidays.
Does the sender and receiver have to be the same person? +
Yes — for personal effects classification, the sender in the UK and the receiver at Accra must be the same person. This is a Ghana customs requirement. A different receiver will cause customs to reclassify the shipment, potentially attracting full commercial import duties.
Are destination charges included in my UK quote? +
No. Your UK quote covers collection from your door, export documentation and air freight to Accra ACC. Destination charges — airport handling, government inspection fees, storage fees and any import duties — are levied by Ghana authorities and payable by the receiver at the Accra cargo warehouse. What is the booking deposit? +
