Can I ship golf clubs?

Golf clubs are one of the most common specialist items we ship. A standard golf bag with 14 clubs, balls, shoes and accessories typically weighs 12–20kg and is perfectly suited to our air freight service.

How to prepare your golf clubs for shipping

Use a hard travel case where possible. Hard-sided golf travel cases provide the best protection. If using a soft travel bag, pad club heads individually with headcovers and bubble wrap.

Protect driver and woods. These are the most vulnerable clubs. Ensure headcovers are on all clubs. Add padding around the driver shaft — foam pipe insulation cut to length works well.

Shoes, balls and accessories travel in the same bag. Golf shoes, gloves, tees and accessories are fine alongside clubs. Golf balls add weight — declare the total weight accurately at booking.

Remove lithium batteries from trolleys or GPS devices. Electric trolley batteries and GPS device batteries must be removed and carried in cabin baggage. IATA aviation regulation — no exceptions.

Yes — golf balls, shoes and accessories can all travel in the same bag. Weigh the full bag before booking and tell us the total weight.

What about my electric golf trolley?+

Electric trolleys ship as separate items. The lithium battery must be removed and carried in cabin baggage — IATA regulation. Call us for trolley-specific pricing.

How far in advance should I book?+

Minimum 7–10 working days for Europe. For long-haul (South Africa, Australia, Caribbean), allow 14 working days so your clubs arrive before you do.
